The Research Group Electrochemical and Surface Engineering (SURF) was awarded a 7 year Methusalem grant for its ambitious research project 'Design and Prediction of Nanostructured Metal Surfaces' (NANOMET).
This Methusalem grant provides structural and long term funding for excellent Flemish researchers. Herman Terryn, professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and part-time professor at the department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) of TU Delft, is the project leader and driving force of this Methusalem project at SURF (VUB).
